ART, KNOTS & BOOKS – A CREATIVE NEW MEETING HUB FOR KIDS
We start this season with a new spare time activity for kids living in Östra Göinge. Art, Knots & Books is for everyone between 8 and 18 years old. Together we create a creative meeting hub where we’ll get together each Thursday afternoon, until the middle of April. Each time you’ll be able to try new activities. Together we’ll explore and experience art, nature and stories. It will be a place where new friends meet and each time we’ll make time for a “fika”. Art, Knots & Books is a co-operation between Wanås Konst, the Scouts in Sibbhult and the Libraries in Östra Göinge.

EVERY THURSDAY 16 FEB – APRIL 3–5 PM
Every Thursday you can try out new workshops, different
materials and different techniques. Together we discover
art, nature and stories. We offer a ”fika”.
Thursdays in Feb: 16 & 23
Thursdays in Mars: 2, 9, 16, 23 & 30
Thursdays in April: 6

COWS CAN DREAM BY MARIA BAJT & JASON DIAKITÉ MIGRATE TO THE US
American Swedish Institute welcomes Swedish visual artist Maria Bajt who is creating a three-dimension installation and immersive play environment that explores the inner-world story of Sam, a "girl cow" in this instance, who dreams and wanders through the sculpture park, sometimes appearing in artworks. Inspired by the innovative and imaginative children's book, Cows Can Dream, with text by Jason Diakité, a Swedish Grammy winning rap musician also known as Timbuktu, and with illustrations by Bajt, the book is part of the Wanås Konst Children’s Book series featuring images by contemporary artists and texts by influential writers who aren't usually associated with children's books.
