Wanås+

Since the start in 1997, the Wanås Foundation’s educational program, Wanås+, has expanded. The focus is on programs concerning contemporary art’s addible qualities with the aspirations of understanding and interpreting contemporary artistic forms of expression. The program involves adults, teenagers and children. Tours, workshops and further education programs take place in the Park, the Barn and the Stable as well as in the historical exhibition. Throughout the region, collaborations take place in various projects on a continuous basis; with colleges and universities as well as with high schools through the annual Wanås Youth Project. The aim of the program is to raise awareness and interest for contemporary art and history.
