Marika Wachtmeister awarded the goverment medal Illis quorum
On September 3 2010, the Swedish minister of culture Lena Adelsohn Liljeroth gave the government’s medal of the eighth size, with the inscription Illis quorum meruere labores, to Marika Wachtmeister, the founder of the WanÃ¥s Foundation. Marika Wachtmeister was awarded the for her important contribution to the development of contemporary art in Sweden through her work as a non-profit cultural entrepreneur within the framework of the WanÃ¥s Foundation.
